Lindy Hop
Dancers on the street wearing authentic clothes. The idea was to show young enthusiasts trying to revive the spirit of thirties. Though Yugoslavia never had strong Lindy Hop movement, these people bring it to life, with organizing dance lessons, Lindy Hop Parties and many people in Serbia are not in common with it. Pictures are taken in Zemun in front of facades with low windows which adds to the spirit of old times. The street was very busy but drivers in Zemun were patient and wanted to involve an help the shooting even though we were making chaos with stopping the street traffic. Square format was a must due to Rolleiflex camera I used simultaneously to enlarge prints later.
